Fast Editing of resent Bookmarks
When I click on "Show your bookmarks" icon in Firefox Toolbar / "Manage Bookmarks", it always opens "Other bookmarks". I want it to open "Bookmark toolbar" so I can quickly Edit resent viewings ?
The ">>" icon view is away too slow
How can I change this ?

Thanks, I suspected as much, but if Mozilla could allow a user to change the destination of that link in "about:config" it would be faster to edit current viewing urls and save a few clicks ;o)

Hi Ron, unfortunately, there's no option to change the initial folder when opening the Library ("Manage Bookmarks") window.
Depending on what you want to do with those bookmarks, you could possibly use the Recent Bookmarks list:
menu button > Bookmarks
If you right-click a bookmark and choose Edit Bookmark, you get an overlay that lets you edit the title, move it to a different folder, etc. Please note: this chronological list is linked to the actual bookmarks, so deleting a bookmark here deletes it from its actual location.
If you were hoping to drag it to a new location on the toolbar, this list doesn't work for that. However, if you right-click and choose Show in Folder, Firefox will open the Bookmarks Sidebar with that bookmark highlighted. You can drag bookmarks up and down the list in the sidebar.
Hope that helps, at least a little

Mozilla recently started up a new "Ideas" site at https://connect.mozilla.org/. I think if you have time, it would be a good idea to post there to get into the current feedback stream. Or search -- it might already be an Idea you can vote for (give Kudos).
There is a way to use the autoconfig.cfg file to set what folder opens in the Library.
