When I receive email queries from posters on the forums, there is no link to the issue
Emails sent to posters from this forum:
Is there a way to get an email address for someone registered on the forum? Apparently there is, because I got an email query from cheetah2003 today; but replying to that email was problematic.
Several times I've received emails from people who have apparently read about an issue I posted, but there is no link back to the specific posting, nor to the email of the person asking me the question (just their name/moniker on the forum).
I see that note on the email that says "Avoid support scams. We will never ask you to call or text a phone number or share personal information." That does nothing to help me reply to the questioner.
I finally looked up some of my prior posts (luckily I had bookmarked several) and found the specific post. There ought to be a link in the email, some way to get back to the forum posting.

Hi, I personally have to turn off notifications because... so much email.
Back in the day, I think there were links to indicate something is helpful or solved the problem, but there wasn't a clear link to Reply? That definitely should be fixed.
More generally, users can use their profile to find a list of their questions. Either hover the mouse pointer over your user picture in the top right of a page here, or bookmark the page for quick reference.
