Download system possibly broken
every file i download from this version of Firefox showed up as completed in the download manager, yet when i open them my system either pops me an error message telling me it's broken (as is the case with .apk packages) or refuse to play (with audio files). my pre-installed browser download everything just fine. i tried downloading the same file multiple times, and different formats on different sites, all ended up corrupted when i open them. I'm testing if both my huawei phones encounter this problem.
system & app info:

Hi
Do you gave an example if a site and a file that you are trying to download?
Please appreciate that you may be able to download the file with Firefox for Android, but Firefox may not be able to open the file and you will have to use another app on your device.
just tested it! the exact build installed from the same app gallery, but on a different phone and different android version, no problems with .mp3 files, with and without the same plugins. And before you ask-yes, i did gave permission for firefox to access storage.

Hi,
First, thank you for helping, I do have a sample: https://soundbible.com/1968-Apple-Bite.html
when i tap on the download mp3 icon, the download prompt pops up at the bottom, shortly after confirming, the download is marked as complete. Then I tap it and it should take me to the music app and start playing, but the music app page flashes open and closes, bring me back to the download manager page. tried opening them directly in my file manager instead of inside firefox, same error.
Hi
I think that the problem lies with the marketing on that page rather than with Firefox for Android.
Using the link that you provided, I downloaded and opened the file.
