I am with Virgin Media and recently, Thunderbird started to ask me sporadically for passwords to my VM (Virgin Media) account, sometimes it would, sometimes it wouldn't, eventually, it would downlaod my messages. This however stopped 2 days ago, when I didn't get any emails at all. I went on VM's home page and sure enough, on their email page I had a load of unread messages. I called VM tech support and we went through all my settings and we were both satisfied that they were in fact in order. I tried starting windows 10 in safe mode, no joy. I switched off my AV protection, still no joy. I am up to date with the Thunderbird version, so now I'm at my wits end, it says at the bottom of the screen that it's connected to imap.virginmedia.com, but nothing happens. Can someone help me please?
