Every time when I upload a file to a website, as soon as i click Browse to find the file, Firefox crashes/froze on OS X. When I use Chrome to do the same thing works fine. Have entered "about:crashes" on Firefox address bar, have several unreported IDs. Unable to submit the IDs, shown failed when clicked.

Start your Computer in safe mode with network support. Then start Firefox. Try Secure websites. Is the problem still there?

In the address bar, type about:crashes<enter>. At the upper right, press the Remove All Reports button.

When new crashes are reported, make sure they are sent to the Mozilla servers.

Hi FredMcD, appreciate your replies. I have removed all reports as mentioned. The small dialogue you mentioned did not appear. I tried to upload file, the browser stop responding/froze like previously.

That means another program on your system is causing the problem.

As a test, disable your protection programs.
