At, open menu/options/search, the default search engine is set DuckDuckGo. In One-Click Search Engines, google is listed but unchecked. At help/troubleshooting information/ refresh was performed; yet, after completion there is no change of this unwanted google interjection/intervention/high jacking non-sense.
