Hello,

This looks to be more of a question for the AVG community at https://support.avg.com/

If you believe the website is safe and AVG is falsely blocking it, you can add it to AVG's exceptions list as suggested in this article:

http://support.avg.com/SupportArticleView?urlname=How-to-make-exclusions-from-all-scans-and-shields .

If you are uncertain then submit the URL to AVG's developers at https://www.avg.com/submit-sample so they can analyze it for any virus.

I hope this information helps.

It sounds as though your Firefox never loaded that file because it was blocked by AVG. Assuming it was malware, the question is why Firefox was even requesting that file. Was it triggered by a website you visited? Do you have a bad add-on? Is other software on your computer manipulating Firefox?

You could consider supplementing your AVG scans with another tool such as Malwarebytes.
