I do not have the time to figure out the new way to put tabs on bottom every time you "downgrade" Firefox. I am sure many thousands are not "downgrading" for the same reason. If you want us to continue to utilize your product, please be user friendly. If it is too much trouble to put in the option, put the tabs on the bottom all the time and let those who want them on top (both of them) figure out how to do it.

hi, this might no the the answer you're looking for, but the reality is that tabs on top were made the default in firefox eight years ago (in version 4), official support for tabs on bottom got dropped 5 years ago (in firefox 29) and extensions can no longer modify that behaviour since 15 month ago either (since firefox 57).

the fight to have mozilla support tabs on bottom is long lost - you're currently already use a userChrome.css hack to get the tabs into the place where you'd like them to have. there are no guarantees whatsoever that a particular userChrome.css modification will continue to work across versions though, it's a bit like open heart surgery on a moving target... and the most likely outcome of complaints about that would most likely be mozilla dropping this means of customization altogether unfortunately.

in case you continue to look for tabs on bottom in current versions you should inquire with the community at https://www.reddit.com/r/FirefoxCSS/ on how to do so.

Thanks. I will start looking at other browsers to see if any of them care about the users.

This is the standard across Browsers. Failure to understand this isn't mozilla issue since it's long past.

Chrome's tabs are easier to use. I've tried using Firefox tabs on top for months. It really sucks. They are not separate--Chrome's are, even though they are on top.

I try to grab the Firefox browser all the time to move it. I pull tabs off the browser and it opens a new separate browser, or it just goes to another web page I don't want. It is so awkward and not user friendly.

I did the CSS thing the first time they updated and changed it. It worked ok, but now I am not going to write code for three different Macs that I use--it is a gigantic pain.

Dear Mozilla--If it ain't broke--don't fix it. This awful tab design may lose you users that have used Firefox for decades--like me. I hate those tabs!!

Try to enable "Drag Space" via the customize page.
