Many site issues can be caused by corrupt cookies or cache.

Warning ! ! This will log you out of sites you're logged in to. You may also lose any settings for that website.

If there is still a problem, Start Firefox in Safe Mode {web link} by holding down the <Shift> (Mac=Options) key, and then starting Firefox.

A small dialog should appear. Click Start In Safe Mode (not Refresh). Did this help?

While you are in safe mode;

Try disabling graphics hardware acceleration in Firefox. Since this feature was added to Firefox it has gradually improved but there are still a few glitches.

Just in case the above doesn't do the trick :

Press the Alt key on your keyboard, which will bring up the
menu bar (upper top left).

Choose View => Page Style

Make sure it's set to 'Basic Page Style'.

I did everything you told me and it's still there, here's the pic: https://imgur.com/a/yOXrXHK

But I haven't tried uninstalling and reinstalling firefox. Would that do something?

Doesn't sound like a bad idea, but let's try to Refresh Firefox first :

https://support.mozilla.org/en-US/kb/refresh-firefox-reset-add-ons-and-settings

If that doesn't work, you can always uninstall and reinstall :

To do a clean reinstall of Firefox, please follow these steps :
Note: You might want to print these steps or view them in another browser.

  1. Download the latest Desktop version of Firefox from mozilla.org (or choose the download for your operating system and language from this page) and save the setup file to your computer.
  2. After the download finishes, close all Firefox windows (or open the Firefox menu New Fx Menu and click the close button Close 29).
  3. Delete the Firefox installation folder, which is located in one of these locations, by default:
    • Windows: (Note: Check both folders.)
      • C:\Program Files\Mozilla Firefox
      • C:\Program Files (x86)\Mozilla Firefox
  4. Now, go ahead and reinstall Firefox :
    1. Double-click the downloaded installation file and go through the steps of the installation wizard.
    2. Once the wizard is finished, choose to directly open Firefox after clicking the Finish button.

More information about reinstalling Firefox can be found here.

WARNING: Do not use a third party uninstaller as part of this process. Doing so could permanently delete your Firefox profile data, including but not limited to, extensions, cache, cookies, bookmarks, personal settings and saved passwords. These cannot be easily recovered unless they have been backed up to an external device! See Back up and restore information in Firefox profiles.

Bummer  !

You've done just about everything in the book .....  :(

Not giving up just yet - would you take a look at this article please and especially scroll down to the section :

Remove a single website from your history

(you did try Safe Mode, didn't you  ?)

A little tip :

Instead of quoting a whole post, you can just quote the relevant part :

At the beginning of the part you want to quote, make sure this tag is placed : <blockquote>

And at the end of the part you want to quote, type this tag : </blockquote> (note the forward slash ... )

(Or don't quote at all; it's not a must .... )
