How do I resolve continued recent "Insecure Connection" messgaes?
Your connection is not secure
The owner of www.google.com has configured their website improperly. To protect your information from being stolen, Firefox has not connected to this website.
This site uses HTTP Strict Transport Security (HSTS) to specify that Firefox may only connect to it securely. As a result, it is not possible to add an exception for this certificate.

Report errors like this to help Mozilla identify and block malicious sites
www.google.com uses an invalid security certificate.
The certificate is not trusted because the issuer certificate is unknown. The server might not be sending the appropriate intermediate certificates. An additional root certificate may need to be imported.

Hi just4kicksbbdn, the most common reason for the SEC_ERROR_UNKNOWN_ISSUER code is a "man in the middle". It could be your security software, or it could be malware. To help track it down, could you check this article: How to troubleshoot security error codes on secure websites.
You can check if there is more detail available about the issuer of the certificate.
- click the "Advanced" button show more detail
- click the blue error text (SEC_ERROR_UNKNOWN_ISSUER) to show the certificate chain
- click "Copy text to clipboard" and paste the base64 certificate chain text in a reply
If clicking the blue error text doesn't provide the certificate chain then try these steps to inspect the certificate.

BitDefender Modules -> Online Threat Prevention -> Settings -> Web Protection:
Well, the Mozilla link answers what to do if you are running 2015 or 2016. Bitdefender has removing modules in 2019. I'm running Total Security 2018.
Found it! For Bitdefender Total Security 2018: Protection>Settings>Online Web Protection>Encrypted web scan>click off Problem solved although I don't feel really secure. Thanks!
