I use multiple computers, one of them is my main one which I use much more often than others and it has all of my up to date bookmarks etc.

I want to get my up to date firefox from my main computer to another one of my other computers which I haven't used for months. PULL ONLY. Is there a way I can do this?

I have a firefox account and I did sync before but I had to disconnect it in the past due to merge issues. Before, it made a complete mess on my main firefox when I synced my old one to the current one, grabbing all of the old bookmarks and merging them in. Which is a serious problem because I add and remove bookmarks very frequently.

Do Not use sync for what you want.

Sync shares data between systems. There is no 'master.' Anything changed, added, or removed from one system is shared with all systems.

Use these instructions to export your bookmarks from the system you want. Then replace the current bookmarks on the other devices using a thumb drive.

Only after turn on sync.

Open the Bookmarks Manager; Press the Alt or F10 key to bring up the toolbar, and select Bookmarks. Hot key is <Control> (Mac=<Command>) <Shift> B.

Once the window is open, at the top of the page, press the button labeled Import and Backup. Select Export Bookmarks To HTML, and follow the prompts and save it to a HTML file. Copy the file to another computer. Repeat the instructions above, BUT select Import Bookmarks From HTML.
