Automatic install of an update on 1/26/18 at about 7 AM US Eastern. Since then FIrefox 58 crashes EVERY time it is opened. Sometimes I get the prompt to open in Safe Mode, it crashes also. Only one time yesterday afternoon did SafeMode stay open and I could use it for about 30 minutes, then it crashes. I've reinstalled, rebooted, redownloaded Firefox and reinstalled several times. No problems with any other applications. Even though it's crashed over 50 times while I've tried to resolve this, this is the only crash ID I could find reported and it appears to be from yesterday morning:

Crash ID: bp-96e5810a-36cc-43b5-9c98-a12760180126

I have to have to go without Firefox but I may have to. T

hi, this particular crash report was from an earlier firefox version - however it shows that malwarebytes ant-exploit was hooking into the firefox process. can you try disabling/removing that third-party tool once and see if this makes any difference...

Thanks for the tip about Malwarebytes, I've had it on my machine for years and never had a problem until this update. I removed Malwarebytes from my computer and Firefox immediately opened and has stayed opened, in fact I'm writing this from Firefox. Thank you so much the assistance!
