Mozilla Thunderbird is coming up as a page with pink and white stripes on it. It has no e-mails or categories to the left, like Inbox, Sent, etc.
When I first click on my Mozilla Thunderbird e-mail it comes up with the correct looking page. But within 1 or 2 seconds, it comes up with a page that says it is the Inbox, but there is nothing on the page to read...No e-mails, no categories on the left that say: Inbox, Sent, Trash, etc. There is nothing to click into to see any e-mails. Very, very frustrating.....My name is Alicia Peterson and my e-mail address is: [email protected] Thank you!

The stripes suggest to me that one or more of the QuickFilter bar buttons is switched on. So it is set to show only messages that meet some criterion such as "has an attachment", or "unread" , and there currently aren't any messages that match that condition.
The QuickFilter bar usually appears across the top of your message list. It can be toggled on and off using a toolbar button (this usually has a magnifying glass icon) or via the View|Toolbars option in the menu. Unfortunately the QuickFilter bar can be made to disappear by pressing the esc key.
