I am actually using Windows 10 and been used for several months. Firefox could still be functioning until I updated the latest version.

Hi there, I use Windows 8.1 and also have this kind of problem. Here's a video of what I see in the browser (sorry, the interface isn't in English, but you'll see the browser's behaviour anyway): https://www.dropbox.com/s/wlnjuts1m520pw4/firefox-57-no-response.wmv?dl=0

I've tried refreshing Firefox (thankfully - it's possible in my case) - it doesn't work. I've tried reinstalling Firefox as well. But still no result.

Yeah, that's exactly what I am facing, but then I doubt if this is a problem of compatibility

hi, another user has linked a problem with similar symptoms to an old version of trusteer being installed on the affected device here: https://support.mozilla.org/en-US/questions/1186380

not sure, but perhaps something similar is happening in your case as well...

But what should I do to check if the problem is about trusteer ?

the other user said that updating trusteer to the latest available version has helped...

I have never installed trusteer actually

Hey guys, just want to say, that I suspected some firewall incompatibilities. I use DrWeb, and I've granted all the possible accesses to Firefox application. Still doesn't work.

Sadly, as no responses has been received, I've installed the ESR version. It works fine. But guess I won't use Firefox as a main browser from now on.
