I use Thunderbird to monitor two email accounts. A few days ago it stopped downloading emails from one email address but not the other. The weird thing is that for the address it does not work with anymore, it sees and downloads one specific email and even though the settings are to remove emails from the server, it does not. I am using Windows 10.

Please go to: Thunderbird menu: Help: Troubleshooting Information and copy the section for "Mail and News Accounts", and past it in a reply here.

Also, what is the part of the e-mail address after the @, for the problem e-mail account?

Hi Morgan. Are you also SBaumler?

It appears that both of your e-mail addresses are with the same e-mail provider, but they are using different server names: pop3.addictedgamers.com pop2.addictedgamers.com

Since you own and administer the domain name yourself, then you should log into your domain hosting control panel and figure out what the e-mail server settings should be. While you are at it, you should probably switch over to using SSL settings.

If your domain control panel is cPanel, then click on "Email Accounts", go down to one of your e-mail addresses, click "More" and select "Configure Email Client". See my snip below. Your e-mail/web host should have manual settings there for you to use in Thunderbird.

In Thunderbird: Thunderbird menu: Tools: Account Settings Check both your POP and SMTP settings.

Thanks! Yes, SBaumler and morganmclain are the same, couldn't log into the other to post a reply. I had completely not seen the pop2/3 difference, will see if that gets things going again. Thanks for pointing it out!
