Mozilla gets hung when a page is loading or getting refreshed on the other tab. Every time it happens it take a minute or so to become stable again. please fix this.

I keep some auto refresh page open to keep me updated on my email and other application. When the page gets refreshed mozilla gets hung until it is over. it happens even when a page loading and i try to open a new tab.

I guess if mozilla browser can overcome this problem then it can give the best performance than any other browser.

Thanks, Raj

I'm noticing it too and only since FF 48 install, which was installed from scratch. For example, If I click 3 links to open in new tabs in the background, they seem to load one at a time. Tabs 2 and 3 sit there blank until tab 1 finishes loading, then tab 2 loads, then tab 3. Same thing happens when reloading a page, other tabs will stop until reloading is done.

Same issue? Don't mean to divert from your topic if it's different.

Incidently, about reloading pages, I'm having to do this almost constantly on image sites now, they will not load fully. Having to reload pages 3 to 5 times until everything is visible. Again, new to me in FF 48. Maybe a seperate issue, maybe not.

Start Firefox in Safe Mode {web Link} by holding down the <Shift>
(Mac=Options)
key, and then starting Firefox. A small dialog should appear. Click Start In Safe Mode (not Refresh).

Is the problem still there?
