I don't want to ask others to solve a problem that Mozilla created in the first place. Mozilla put the damn thing there and Mozilla should be responsible for removing it. It interferes with the operation of my e-mails. If I ask for help from your tech staff, I should be able to contact them. If you can't help your customers, maybe we should switch to an e-mail server that can. Jack McDonald

Mozilla has very little to do with Thunderbird anymore. The tech staff are programmers and volunteers donating their time so you can use free software. Neither of which appreciate being cussed at. Go to Tools-Options-General and uncheck to show the start page. Being a customer involves paying for something, not using it for free. Maybe spend a little time exploring the menus.
