I am trying to use less data on my laptop at home. I use firefox 44.0.2 I am trying to get images to not load automatically. I read to (Firefox: Open the Options window, click the Content icon, and uncheck Load images automatically.) I do not see a place to check or uncheck load images anywhere. How else can this be done? Also any other tips you can share or websites you can share to save data when using my laptop at home would be appreciated. I am now using Go-Mobile app which helps some. Thanks

Personally, I use this addon when I want to disable images on websites I visit: QuickJava I hope that helps.

Thanks Grad. I downloaded & installed this just now but don't see anywhere that tells me how to use this addon. I see if you click on options another screen appears but not exactly sure what to check as on & what as off. Trying to get my laptop to use as little data as possible since I only have 10 GB available/mth for $80 from verizon. Grrr that gets gobbled up really quick.

The addon allows you to switch off: - Javascript - Cookies - Java - Flash - Silverlight - Images - Animated Images - Style (CSS) - Proxy

In its options there's "hide add-on bar icon" - select all of the ones you don't want to have a switch off/on button for in your addon bar/toolbar.

If you select all except for "Images" you'll see a blue [ I ] button in your toolbar. Click it and it'll turn red - the images are now off.

Alternatively, you can go to FF's "Customize" option and drag the [ I ] button to wherever you want to have it (if it's not the add-on bar).

Thanks Grad, I see what a difference this makes on the pages & it will probably help a lot!!!
