Able to download the Adobe Flash Player to Firefox, but unable to intsall?
I was able to download Adobe Flash Player to Firefox, but for some reason, when I double click on the file, the run window doesn't populate so I can install it on Windows. I have already uninstalled the old Adobe Flash Player. When I click on the Flash Player download, Windows shows the following message: "flashplayer20_a_install.exe" is an executable file. When I click okay to open, still nothing. Solutions?

Have you tried rebooting the computer.
The Flash downloads I have have plugin in the saved file name. As in install_flash_player20_plugin.exe.
flashplayer20_a_install.exe That a might be the ActiveX version of Flash that would be used by Internet Explorer and not any other web browsers. If you download Flash thru IE, you'll get the version for IE and not for Firefox, Chrome, or Opera.
Get the correct Adobe installer for Firefox from here: https://www.adobe.com/products/flashplayer/distribution3.html Select the Windows > Plugin-based browsers - the EXE version.
Make sure that you close Firefox before running the Flash installer - Adobe requirements for installing Flash.
Have tried both re-booting and install_flash_player20_plugin.exe., with the same result: the download is successful, but run window doesn't appear, after double-clicking on the downloaded file. End result, still unable to install Adobe Flash Player.
