I can recommend trying to check the History > Show all history.

Does Session Restore otherwise work properly?
You can try the "Show my windows and tabs from last time" startup setting if you currently aren't using this.
- Firefox > Preferences > General > Startup: "When Firefox starts": "Show my windows and tabs from last time"
