I can restore the column selections under "Select Columns to Display" except for "Subject" which is mysteriously absent. "Reset Columns to Default" just clears them all. In an previously unaffected folder, "Reset Columns to Default" propagates the problem.

The "Repair Folder" button under "Properties" -> "General Information" does nothing!

Me again: The problem was fixed by the software updates I installed today, 9/29/15. I could list them in detail, but those that should know, already know.

Me again: The main problem is the display of a mail folder's contents lacks the "Subject" field, this problem cannot be fixed, and it spreads to any folder for which I perform "Reset Columns to Default". See the screenshot above.
