I recently restarted/shut down my computer. Before doing so, Firefox prompted me to update it, so I did. Tonight, upon launching the browser, I discovered something called Wizebar.com was the only thing that would appear. My homepage would load and stay there for about a minute. As soon as I went to type anything into the search bar or a minute elapsed, wizebar.com appeared. And I do mean the ONLY thing that popped up; no Firefox menu, no favorites, not even the program's close, minimize buttons showed up. So naturally, I uninstalled and reinstalled. The same problem happened. I have Kaspersky anti-virus that is a current subscription. I have ran a virus check and it came back negative. What in the world is going on?

hello, this sounds like a problem possibly caused by adware on your pc.

please go to the firefox menu ≡ > addons > extensions & remove any suspicious entries (toolbars, things that you have not installed intentionally, don't know what purpose they serve, etc).
also go to the windows control panel / programs and remove all toolbars or potentially unwanted software from there.
finally, run a full scan of your system with different security tools like the free version of malwarebytes & adwcleaner.
