After updating Firefox in the most recent update it hangs upon opening. I would try the other fixes for hanging but Firefox is unresponsive and I can't access anything within it to fix it.

Tried re-downloading to make sure I have v31.01 and starting in safe mode but no luck. Still not responding.

Type about:preferences#advanced<Enter> in the address bar.

Under Advanced, Select Network. Look for Configure How Firefox Connects and press the Settings button. If you are using a proxy, make sure those settings are correct. If there is no proxy, first use No Proxy. If there is a problem, then try System Proxy.
