The first 3 crashes seem to be very rare and I can't find any data on them. The fourth is more common but I don't know why it's happening at startup.

Are you able to start Firefox in its Safe Mode? That's a standard diagnostic tool to deactivate extensions and some advanced features of Firefox. More info: Diagnose Firefox issues using Troubleshoot Mode.

When Firefox is not running, you can start Firefox in Safe Mode by holding down the Shift key when launching the Firefox shortcut.

A small dialog should appear. Click "Start in Safe Mode" (not Reset).

Will it run?

Oh, hold on, your crash reports indicate Firefox 26. Can you do a clean install of Firefox 32 first? Here's what I mean:

Do not uninstall Firefox.

(1) Download a full installer for Firefox 32 from https://www.mozilla.org/firefox/all/ to a convenient location. (Scroll down to your preferred language.)

(2) After exiting Firefox, rename the Mozilla Firefox program folder

64-bit Windows:

C:\Program Files (x86)\Mozilla Firefox

to

C:\Program Files (x86)\OldFirefox

32-bit Windows:

C:\Program Files\Mozilla Firefox

to

C:\Program Files\OldFirefox

(3) Run the installer you downloaded in #1. It should automatically connect to your existing settings.

Does Firefox start and stay up?

Note: Some plugins may exist only in that OldFirefox folder. If something essential is missing, look in these folders:

  • OldFirefox\Plugins
  • OldFirefox\browser\plugins

Could you test in Firefox's Safe Mode as noted above? That disables the JavaScript compilers, which seem to be related to this problem.

The first crash reports say; Release Channel beta

more options

what is actually release channel beta?

Hi Ridwanrizvy, it's the Beta, which is the next version of Firefox which is still in testing (currently the future Firefox 33). But now you have the normal release channel (Firefox 32).

Hi Ridwanrizvy, some notes on these two crash report IDs:

bp-1c25016c-59d2-4fd6-8153-775e52140930 - startup crash after 2 seconds with avast! extension active (not safe mode)

bp-c43bd98b-780d-471c-932f-74cd92140930 - crash after about 15 minutes processing style rules with no extensions active (safe mode); about 550 instances reported in the past 7 days (one comment indicated on Gmail, no other specifics reported)

But that doesn't really give me any ideas on how to stop the crashes.
