netflix wont restart in 32 bit mode since firefox update
I woke one morning to find a new version of firefox on my mac. Since then I have not been able to get Netflix to work since it asks me to restart in 32bit mode. Prior to the update the yellow bar restarted Netflix with no issues now it just cycles back with no change.

I had the same problem this morning. I updated the silverlight and flash add-ons, and that seems to have done the trick. I see that yellow bar every time I try to watch netflix, and always have to restart the browser, but I found that you can always open firefox in 32-bit mode if you go to finder-->applications, right click on Firefox, click on "get info", and check the box that says "open in 32-bit mode"

Can anyone confirm if chrisasco's workaround works? We've also had reports that updating silverlight helps. Any extra information on this would be helpful!
The Silverlight update worked perfectly, the restart in 32 bit bar does not even appear anymore. Thank you for the help. bbs1
I don't have Silverlight. I don't know what it is for actually. I tried clicking the box to open in 32-bit mode, but that didn't work at all.
