Everything on my screen from the Tab line down to about on inch below the tab line is non-responsive. What could be causing this? I tried rebooting but nothing changes.

There appears to be a rectangular area near the top of my computer screen that will not allow me to select links or text For example, on this screen that I am looking at now, I can not select the tabs to change from one tab to another, nor can I select any of the links below the tab line for about one inch below. I'm unable to select my account name link, the Sign Out, Inbox and Other Applications links located just below the tab line, nor can I select the DESKTOP and MOBILE links just below the words FIREFOX HELP.

That problem can be caused by the Yahoo! Toolbar that extents too much downwards and covers the top part of the browser window and thus makes links and buttons in that part of the screen not clickable.

Start Firefox in Diagnose Firefox issues using Troubleshoot Mode to check if one of the extensions or if hardware acceleration is causing the problem (switch to the DEFAULT theme: Firefox (Tools) > Add-ons > Appearance/Themes).
