Hello! I have 5 or 6 groups of tabs, each having 2-10 tabs inside. Usually everything's ok, but twice I closed (ALT+F4 or CTRL+SHIFT+W) Firefox and found no groups, no tabs on the next launch. What's wrong?

It happened in ver. 6.0, not in 6.0.2

Chosen solution

Try to use Firefox/File > Exit to see if that helps.

App (pinned) tabs and Tab Groups (Panorama) are stored as part of the session data [1] in the file sessionstore.js [2] in the Firefox profile folder [3].

Make sure that you do not use "Clear Recent History" to clear the "Browsing History" when Firefox is closed because that prevails and prevents Firefox from opening tabs from the previous session.

It is also possible to use the "Show my windows and tabs from last time" setting, that is usually a more reliable way to restore session data.

If you use cleanup software like CCleaner then check the settings for the Firefox application (Session).

Hi there!

Thanks a lot for the answer.

I didn't clear my history, and my startup settings are the same you mentioned.

I went to my profile folder, and there was sessionstore-1.js there. I renamed it, and everything went perfect.

Thanks for your help.
