I am running XP on a 5+ year old machine. I have had to remove multiple users’ to speed it up. While stripping the unwanted programme files I came across a number of Mozilla firefox versions and have managed to remove two of them but now Mozilla (1.7b), Mozilla Firefox (1.0.4), Mozilla Firefox (1.5). Mozilla (1.7b) says that the uninstall file cannot be found in J: /snapshot/mozilla17/uninstall... I don't have a J: / drive only C: /. The other two programs say that they cannot find the Uninstall log off the local machine.

Anything I can do?

Delete the Program Files folders for those installations.

Thanks for such a quick response, and I should have put this in the original question.... After deleting what I could using "Add or Remove Programmes" I have now deleted all Mozilla folders from... C:\Program Files C:\Program Files\Common Files C:\backup profiles\Application Data C:\WINDOWS They have still not left the programs list in "Add or Remove Programmes".

It is likely that the programs are no longer installed. It is not unusual for "add remove programs" to list programs that are no longer installed.
