Somehow one of my subfolders under Local Folders became a nested file between the nested Inbox and nested Draft folders (see the uploaded image below). I recreated a new folder under Local Folders and moved all the emails from the 'AA Saved Mail folder to that new folder. Now I cannot find a way to delete the AA Saved Mail folder from its nested position. I've Googled using many different search phrases but came up zero ways to do so. How do I delete that nested folder?

First check in account settings > copies and folder that is it not defined as the Drafts folder. It certainly have the special flag as a drafts folder set, or it would not have the drafts icon.

If it is set, change the account settings drafts folder to something else and that will allow deletion. (note that the setting as a dafts folder can be for an account that has nothing really to do with Local folders, so any accounts that are configured need to be checked.

If that fails to find a valid reason for the folder to have the flag. there is always this addon. https://addons.thunderbird.net/en-US/thunderbird/addon/folderflags/?src=ss

However it looks like it is still awaiting an update to V128.
