Thunderbird Can Send But Not Receive Email
Yesterday all was fine with Thunderbird. Today I can send email but not download email. Thunderbird says that it is connected to the server but then does nothing. Note that I have a number of email accounts defined, both POP and IMAP, and they are spread across 4 different hosting companies. It's the same story for all accounts - I can send but not download email. That means the problem is probably Thunderbird itself.
One bit of advice I followed was to delete the global-messages-db.sqlite file. I did that and restarted but still the same status.
I also updated to the current version of Thunderbird but the problem still exists.
So how do I fix this problem?

How is this problem today ?can you send messages? Or in this case can you recieve messages?
Oké I can send you a form with detail what to do when you cannot send or recieve messages.
You ve already used the sqlite technique.
Is this about all four accounts? Or is this one account that is not working?

Hello Googlethunderbird, As I stated in my original message 1) I can send email 2) I can not receive any email on any email account 3) I used the sqlite technique but that did not fix the problem.
