So in that case, make sure that Cookies and Site Data is '''not''' checked, only Cached Web Content. If you are using the "Clear Recent History" dialog, there are a bunch of checkboxes to control what is cleared. Make sure that Cookies, Site settings, and Offline website data are '''not''' checked. If you are using the "Clear history when Firefox closes" feature, there are a bunch of checkboxes to control what is cleared, if you click the Settings button to the right of that row.
