Update installed taking Firefox to V90.0, and the colors of the bookmarked sites changed from blue to red, as well the downloads changed from blue to red. Not a big deal but I find the red a bit too bright. How do I change these back to blue? Thank you.

Chosen solution

Are you possibly using a red accent color in Windows as Firefox may take some colors from Windows ?

#star-button[starred] {
	fill-opacity: 1;
	fill: var(--toolbarbutton-icon-fill-attention);
}

This is unexpected. Everything is blue/white for me.

Thought I'd add a graphic to show the "red" bookmark star. When downloading, the animation of the download is also "red." Again, not an issue, just curious.

Possibly a result of this change?

"Make --toolbarbutton-icon-fill-attention the native accent color in High Contrast mode on Windows."

Mine is still blue, but I don't use High Contrast mode, so I guess that's expected.

Also, if you want to change the icon colour back, you can do so with the Firefox Color extension. The relevant option is "Icons Attention" under "Advanced Colors".

I didn't have "High Contrast" set, but I did have the "Accent" color set to red. Setting it back to the Windows default made the bookmarked sites "star" and the downloads animation both go back to the blue they were prior to the V90.0 update. Strange it never happened with any other Firefox update, but at least I now know how to change it back if I want to. Thanks to everyone. Marking as solved.
