Restore titlebar on Thunderbird without menus in the titlebar
I have Thunderbird 78.5.0. I'd like to get back my titlebar and display the menus under it. When the Thunderbird window is behind another window and I just want to select it, I hit some menu item. Super irritating. I'm happy for all the developers who like this, but let us have a way to restore it to the way we like it. I have done that in Firefox setting browser.tabs.drawInTitlebar to false. I need something similar in Thunderbird.
Thanks

re: get back my titlebar
- Menu app icon > Options
- Select 'General'
Then either:
- scroll to very bottom and click on 'Config Editor' button
Or :
- use search to locate 'Config Editor' button - see image below
- accept warning
- In search type: intitle
- Look for: mail.tabs.drawInTitlebar
- double click on that line to toggle the value from 'True' to 'False'
- close 'about config' window - top right X

re :display the menus under Titlebar
I presume you mean the 'Menu Bar' toolbar that contains 'File. Edit' etc
- Menu app icon (3 lines) > Customise > select 'Menu Bar'
Thanks Toad-Hall. Config Editor was the thing I was missing.
