60.5.2 updated on 2/26/19. I am on update channel. Cannot download from Comcast since update. I tried uninstalling 60.5.2 and instead installed 52.9.0. It installed but when I ran it, it wanted to download everything that lives on my comcast email account-365 days worth and many thousands of emails. Since it will download from 52.9.0, seems to me that there is a problem with 60.5.2. I see others are having a problem also (cursory review of google. As stated, downloading from 52.9.0 doesn't help my situation. Comcast said it was not their problem so I am at a loss as to how to get Thunderbird working again.

Are you running some sort of Internet security suite? It may have blocked access of the new version of Thunderbird to the Internet. https://support.mozilla.org/kb/cannot-receive-messages

I am 'not' running any security suite other than w10 security from Microsoft. Think it is called MSE. Internet access isn't blocked since I can send emails using smtp. I can download an earlier version of TB (around 57.0.0) and it installs and runs and immediately begins downloading 65000 or so emails since I keep 365 days worth on comcast's server.

Even tried a "fix" I found on either TB or Google that said to download 60.5.1 and install it over my current 60.5.2. That didn't work either.
