How do I keep mail.server.server1.timeout value at greater than 29?

I am deleting a lot of large emails on a daily basis. I get "server timeout" messages quite often and Mozilla then stops responding. Increasing the server timeout setting from 29 to 120 seems to help. But this setting keeps defaulting back to 29.

Any suggestions?

David

If you have the MailTweak add-on installed, uninstall or disable it. If you haven’t, disable other add-ons one by one to find the add-on that probably keeps resetting this value.

In other words, this probably does not happen in Safe Mode, does it?
