I am using Thunderbird and have several accounts on my Server and created accounts for my developers. But Now the issue is this:-

One of my Developer is using Thunderbird and he synced emails to his local computer but as all of the data is private and he is leaving the company So I don't want him to allow to access any of the email or client of mine after he leaves. But I am not able to do it.

Is there any way that i can delete every email from his thunderbird account directly from the server as I am the Owner of the Main Hosting account and also have access to everything. As i tried deleting the email from his webmail as i can access all emails but Emails are keep coming back as all data is stored in his local computer.

I would really appreciate if someone can help me sort this issue asap.

Thanks, Yogesh

Your looking for a technical solution to undertaking normal Human resource management tasks. Manage your staff the same way as was done when mail was on paper. Require a format of the device before departure. But that does not prevent existing backuip, already copied to clound drives with goole or Outlook or any of a thousand location on the internet, or the USB drive full of your company contact list that was posted to your competitor to get the new job.

I suggest you spent your time re examining your staff/contractor management and security policies as they are obviously lacking. you provided the data without considering how to manage it into the future. Perhaps you need the services of a professional IT manager to audit your practices.
