I read that I had to add an add on called phony to be able to place my order however I cannot find it. I only have a lap top. no phone.

No changes needed, just go as is. Are you getting errors when you try?

Phony is an extension that allows a mobile device to pretend to be a desktop computer by spoofing the user agent. If you are using a desktop computer and not a mobile device then you do not need this extension.
I assume that you use a tablet running Windows 8.1 and used IE to post this question.
