Is there a way I can activate SSL 3 in the latest version of Firefox. I have an old HP remote insight card, that I use to control my server, and now I can not access that card any more.

Edit the "security.tls.version.min" in about:config does not help.

The information here is not helpful at all: Unable to Connect Securely Firefox cannot guarantee the safety of your data on 192.168.20.7 because it uses SSLv3, a broken security protocol. Advanced info: ssl_error_unsupported_version

"If you see this message, please contact the website owner to let them know about the problem."

I'm the owner, but how can I change this ? It is of cause impossible, and I do not expect HP to edit a maybe 15 year old SW.

This website is of no help to me: https://support.mozilla.org/en-US/kb/what-do-sslv3-error-messages-mean-firefox?redirectlocale=en-US&redirectslug=how-resolve-sslv3-error-messages-firefox

I need a way to allow Firefox to access my Remote Insight. Is downgrade Firefox the only option ? Which version ? And where to find it ?

This blog does not say if its possible nor not to activate SSL 3 or not: https://blog.mozilla.org/security/2014/10/14/the-poodle-attack-and-the-end-of-ssl-3-0/

hi, as per https://tools.ietf.org/html/rfc7568 ssl 3.0 is deprecated and may no longer be used by modern browsers.

you could set-up an older portable version of firefox from http://portableapps.com/apps/internet/firefox-portable-esr (those are 3rd-party builds and not provided by mozilla directly). you can configure it not to update and reallow ssl3 and just use it for the one purpose to access this network device...
