lost bookmarks back up folder seems to be emty
something happened with kaspersky safe money going into a safe mode well on online banking turned off Kaspersky and restarted computer but made firefox like first down loaded without my bookmarks go though form but nothing seems to work is there something i am over looking?
Chosen solution
There is not a phone number for support from Mozilla. A web search will turn up dozens of companies eager to have you call them, for a price...
Could you check whether the Refresh feature ran? That would have copied your settings folder to a folder on the desktop named Old Firefox Data. If you see anything like that, could you click into it and look at whether the files show a recent modified date/time and could be your recently used settings?
If you find that, we'll suggest ways to recover your data using that folder.
If you do not find that, could you type or paste the following into the Windows Start menu search box and press Enter:
%APPDATA%\Mozilla\Firefox\Profiles
This folder should contain your currently active settings folder (profile folder), and what I'm wondering is whether it contains any additional folders. You can look at the modified date/times for any second folder to see whether it could have your recently lost settings.
Note: It's normal for profile folder names to be semi-random, for example: as75df43.default
Find any extra settings folder?
