Hi, i have updated both firefox and flash for firefox and i am still getting flash issues on facebook and on Google play music. im trying to upload images to help but even that isnt working. Let me know if i can share the images with you another way. basically ive tried uninstalling/installing both firefox and flash and nothing seems to fix the issue. I do not have these issues in chrome or IE, but i prefer firefox as my default :)

Okay, I am nervous about that second Flash plugin with the bizarre version number. I think it might be an impostor.

Can you check where it is on your system and then consider deleting it? To find it, type or paste about:plugins in the address bar and press Enter. This should load a page full of details about your plugins. Use Find (Ctrl+f) to look for Shockwave Flash and see how many show up.

Each plugin should have the "Path" listed. The "real" one should be in the following folder:

C:\Windows\SysWOW64\Macromed\Flash

and the file name would be along the lines of

NPSWF32_17_0_0_169.dll

Where is that other one??

It might be under Lightspark. See: https://support.mozilla.org/questions/1036756

Yes this was the issue. It was under lightspark. i went into Add/remove programs, removed lightspark, and it worked perfectly after this.

I honestly have no idea where lightspark came from, and in add/remove programs it said it was installed in 2013.
