How do I copy all my file folders and subfolders (hierarchy with their messages) from an older version of thunderbird 68.4.1 to the newest version on the same MaciOS. When I’ve upgraded thunderbird (latest version on same machine 91.13.1) in the past I don’t see the storage heirarchy with corresponding data inside each folder or subfolder, which has led me to keep staying with the really old version. I’ve located the item (profile folder??) in the iOS Library that seems from its size to be the data in the hierarchy I’m used to. Can I just delete all other profiles in that library leaving the big one there and expect that the newer thunderbird version will use it? Afraid (Val)

I don't understand what you mean by "I don't see ...". Please state more clearly.

I wouldn't delete anything unless you have multiple large profiles. Please list the profile names.

You should keep the xxx.default profile - it is there as a backup. You normally will have only one default-release folder.

I suggest on the old system you install updates and do backups between each update, until you get to version 102.5.0.

Then copy the contents of the profile directory of old computer to the xxxx-default directory of new computer

TB latest version on same machine 91.13.1 only displays the other screen shot which only has current inbox and does not display all the oilers folders and messages that I need to access.
