Hello!

I am a long-time thunderbird/Eudora user and my question is about mailbox line padding and font size. From what I have read, I need to use a userChrome.css file in my thunderbird profile.

I created the file at /Users/myusername/Library/Thunderbird/Profiles/chrome/

Is that the correct location? It has no effect on the mailbox appearance.

Thanks in advance for any help!!

Best,

Ed

The userChrome.css file must be in the chrome subfolder of the profile folder, not the Profiles folder. Help/More Troubleshooting, Profile Folder, Show in Finder, to open the profile folder. Close TB before editing the profile folder.

Double-click toolkit.legacyUserProfileCustomizations.stylesheets to true in Settings/General/Config. editor, then restart TB to have css take effect.

That did the trick. The profile folder wound up in a spot I had not anticipated. I assumed it would be under my username but it was under folder entirely that must have been created during install.

Thanks for the tip.
