This is a total nightmare. I originally set it NOT to auto update, but for whatever reason that changed. My bookmarks and passwords are just gone... is there any way I can get them back? This is a catastrophe... From 89 to 88 on mac. OSX 10.13.6 - No time machine. Thanks for any advice - This is devastating for all my work stuff. I can't even begin to explain... Not sure why it decided to auto update all of a sudden either.

Look on your desktop. Do you see a folder called; Old Firefox? Look inside. Look for the folder with the latest creation date.

Type about:profiles<enter> in the address bar. How many profiles are listed? How many should be there? Also, open the profile folder in your file explorer.

I did the 'about:profiles' there are 3...default-release, default and default-release-1 (this one is set as 'Default Profile YES' whereas the others are set to 'NO'... is one of those my old profile? My options are 'SET AS DEFAULT PROFILE, LAUNCH PROFILE IN NEW BROWSER, or rename or remove... any suggestions? and Thanks!
