Format has changed, top half is tech numbers, print very small, what happened, how to fix?
I'm using win7. Yesterday I was opening an email, and the screen turned white. I got out of email and went back in, and the format of the screen had changed. All words on the screen were very small. The font had changed also. The top half of the screen was full of what appeared as DOS data, or technical gibberish. The bottom half was the email with small font. I remember several years ago setting up the way I wanted the page to appear, but I was not able to change anything except, when I type a message, I was able to change the font and size as it appears to me. What has happened, and how can I get my old format back? Benny

Is it the menu items that appear smaller, or the message content?
Did you have the wood background before? If the wood background it not intentional, I think you changed the theme.
- Go to Tools > Add-ons
- Select the Appearance tab.
- Switch to Default.
I think we'll need more info about your setup too.
- Go to Help > Troubleshooting Information.
- Click on Copy text to clipboard
- Open a reply to this post, and right-click > Paste to paste your troubleshooting information.

It looks like you've set Thunderbird to display all message headers. It's just a view setting you can easily turn off.
- Open the View menu and go to Headers.
- Select Normal.
This helped, but it still has the formatting or appearance of the page in very small letters and a fine font. This was all set up some time back as Times new roman. Thanks for the help Chris. I think maybe the themes and fonts need checked. That's where I'm headed too now.......

Chris... The Walnut background is intentional. After your first suggestion, I went to my themes and fonts and reactivated it and everything is back to normal. I have no idea why things changed. It happened by opening an email and getting the blank screen. Anyway thanks for the help, and things are back to normal
