Since Firefox version 44.x (version 44.0.1 as well) NO WEBSITE can be displayed anymore. I tried the following: - restart Firefox with deactivated add-ons - set firefox to defaults - virus scan (all fine) - deactivated Virus scanner (AVAST) - deinstalled firefox and installed new - erase the profile (I had backup with MozBackup)

I did everything, but nothing worked. :( It's strange, the x64 version works fine, but with this version I can't use Battlelog (Origin Battlefield 4). What the hell is going on there?

Can anybody help me please? I won't use "Chrome"!

Thanks in advance!

Boot the computer in Windows Safe Mode with network support (press F8 on the boot screen) to see if that helps.

Some problems occurs when your Internet security program was set to trust the previous version of Firefox, but no longer recognizes your updated version as trusted. Now how to fix the problem: To allow Firefox to connect to the Internet again;

  • Make sure your Internet security software is up-to-date (i.e. you are running the latest version).
  • Remove Firefox from your program's list of trusted or recognized programs. For detailed instructions, see

Configure firewalls so that Firefox can access the Internet. {web link}

Some have bypassed this by installing the Win 64byte version.
