I have many bookmark folders. Sometimes I want to go to the folder where a bookmark is to to organize the folders.

When I cannot remember where I put a bookmark, I am forced to sift through all my folder because when I do a search and I click on my bookmark, it does not show which folder its in.

Can you add the functionality of highlighting the containing folder in the left column or at least adding the containing folder name in the bookmark description on the bottom.

Thanks.

You can look at these extensions:

You can make the parent column visible in the Library.

You can use this method to locate a bookmark if you do not want to use the extensions:

  1. Open the bookmark in a tab with a left-click or a middle-click.
  2. Click the yellow (blue on a Mac) star on the location bar to open the "Edit This Bookmark" window
  3. Click the arrow at the far right of the Folder field to see the folder in which that bookmark is stored.
  4. Click the Remove button to remove that bookmark.

You can do this in Offline mode (File or Web Developer > Work Offline) to prevent opening this link.

Worked like a charm. This has been driving me crazy for a long time and finally figured the answer had to be in here somewhere.
