I loaded the upgrade to windows 8 and 4 days later McAfee disappeared after I tried to open it, McAfee logged onto my computer and got it running again but the next day it happened again. The first time nothing would work I tried to down load McAfee use one key recovery to no avail. The second time I managed to recover McAfee and slowly got every thing working except McAfee, it has a greyed out button in the bottom right hand corner. McAfee tried to correct it but told me one of their senior techs would have to look at it, and I am still waiting. It seems to happen more if I am going into Gmail
