That seems to be a problem with the EFS (encrypted file system) service.
You may need to ask about that on a Windows oriented forum

Type about:crashes in the URL bar and hit Enter.
- Middle-Click the hyperlinks to bring up each Crash Report page in a new Tab; each page may take a few minutes to load.
- Then copy'n'paste the URL of each of those reports into the message box here.
- We'll see if we can help you figure out what is causing those crashes to happen.
If you can't open Firefox or keep it open long enough to get the Crash Report ID's, even in the Firefox Safe Mode - see the section entitled - You can't open Firefox because it crashes at startup even in Safe Mode:.
These are the 2 most recent crash reports. I have not been submitting the other crashes and don't have reports to post here:

I have gone through all those steps. I don't have any of the potentially problem software on my system. OS and drivers are up to date.
Did you try a new profile?
The crashes indicate a problem with opening files, but do not mention which file or from which directory, so that can mean anything.
No, I have not changed my profile or made any changes to the way that I use Firefox.
You can create a new profile as a test to check if your current profile is causing the problems.
See "Basic Troubleshooting: Make a new profile":
There may be extensions and plugins installed by default in a new profile, so check that in "Tools > Add-ons > Extensions & Plugins" in case there are still problems.
If that new profile works then you can transfer some files from the old profile to that new profile, but be careful not to copy corrupted files.
See:
I created a new profile and let it run for about a day. Thought that this fixed my issue but when I got up this morning, found that firefox had crashed. By the time stamp, it must have been just as the PC woke from sleep mode. The link to the crash report is below. https://crash-stats.mozilla.com/report/index/bp-250b0011-e3e5-4e4f-b14f-acf572120209

Thanks cor-el for your help with this. I will pursue this with Windows Secrets Lounge which I am familiar with.

I found the only way to fix the crashes is to completely remove Firefox and install fresh. I used CCleaner to uninstall Firefox, but like most uninstall programs, it leaves behind some folders and files. Next I removed the Mozilla folder from the Program Files and used CCleaner again to remove the left behind files.
After doing all of that, and reinstalling FF, it works again with no crashes.
