Even though the settings here are correct, I still cannot block ebay cookies!!!
I've got private settings to block www.ebay.com, ebay.com, ebay*, *ebay* and they still plant cookies on me!!! How can we stop this???
I have the latest updates from Ubuntu 10.10 plus your recent update from your site! What's up with ebay's ability to bypass my settings?

I resolved it!!! Ebay had placed a cookie under another alias that DID NOT have ebay in it's name. This cookie kept reinserting the other ebay cookies. I don't know how they did this because it didn't have any "ebay" in the cookie name. I used Seamonkey and went to each of my sites that I allow cookies from. I did a comparison and found the BAD cookie by deleting the ones that didn't match the Seamonkey cookies. I only wish I had captured the cookie name before deleting it so I could post it's name here. Thanks anyway!

Hi,
Do you have two Firefox? The one that came with Ubuntu and the one installed directly from mozilla.com
I have Ubuntu 10.10 and Firefox version 9.0.1. I've tried "add-ons" also: Cookie Controller 1.1, CookieMan Context 2.4, and CookieFast 1.0 to no avail. Nothing is blocking "ebay" cookies no matter what settings or add-ons I use!!! Check it out yourself. See that they have by-passed the controls and put cookies on you!!! This is a serious breech of security.
