Not really much to say but I keep getting this cricket sound and this laughing sound. They just come up randomly and for no apparent reason. Do you have that problem when running in the Firefox SafeMode?
http://support.mozilla.com/en-US/kb/Safe+Mode
Don't select anything right now, just use "Continue in SafeMode."

If not, see this:

The plugin-container process is used to run a few plugins like Flash in its own process instead of via Firefox to prevent crashes in the plugin from taking the Firefox program down.

If killing the plugin-container process works then there is a Flash or other supported plugin running somehow.

Start Firefox in Diagnose Firefox issues using Troubleshoot Mode to check if one of the add-ons is causing the problem (switch to the DEFAULT theme: Tools > Add-ons > Themes).

  • Don't make any changes on the Safe mode start window.

I will try it and see if it still happens. Thanks.
